Colour Fill

K Rend Colour Fill is a flexible, ready to use, exterior masonry filler, that is suitable for minor repair work such as small cracks and holes.

Such defects on exterior surfaces are not only unsightly, but if left untreated, can leave walls vulnerable to further damage. K Rend Colour Fill offers an ideal solution by providing permanent protection, as well as a tidy finish.

Application Instructions
  • Cut nozzle to required size. (Depends on size of crack)
  • Remove the tip screw and end cap from the cartridge and fit the nozzle. Apply filler using a standard applicator gun Ensure that the filler is left proud of the crack
  • Remove excess material using a clean cloth or sponge whilst creating a textured finish on the surface
  • Build filler up in layers, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Colour Fill can be applied up to a maximum thickness of 8mm per coat
  • After addition of final layer, allow the filler to fully cure for about 12 – 24 hours. (Depending on thickness and weather)
  • The cartridge can be made air tight by replacing both the end cap and tip screw


OVERCOATING

  • For optimum blending of repaired area, K Rend Colour Enhance can be applied once the filler is fully cured

K Pro

K Rend K Pro is a water-based protective treatment used to provide long term enhanced water repellent properties to external render and other masonry surfaces.

It can be applied by roller, painting, flooding or airless spraying and can help combat the problems associated with water intrusion including efflorescence, frost, water-soluble pollutants and algae growth. It provides increased resistance to oil absorption enabling the substrate to stay clean and dry for longer.

12 months approx. if stored off ground in original, sealed containers and protected against frost and away from direct sunlight

Application Instructions

PREPARATION

  • It is recommended that a trial on an inconspicuous area is first carried out to ensure suitability of the product and final appearance of the treated surface
  • The surface to be treated should be clean and free from any loose or friable material, including algae
  • For best results, apply onto a dry background
  • Mask all adjacent surfaces, including windows, sills doors, timber, glass, brick and flooring

APPLICATION

  • Stir or shake before use
  • Can be applied by roller, painting, flooding or airless spraying
  • Application rate: approximately 5 sq. metres per litre per coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface to be treated
  • For optimum protection a second coat should be applied as soon as the first coat has soaked in and before it fully dries
  • Initial water and oil resistance develops within 24 hours of application and improves with time

Algae Clean

K Rend Algae Clean is a water-based, anti-bacterial fungicidal concrete wash used to treat moulds, algae and lichens. It can be used on external surfaces such as brick, concrete, paving, tiles, masonry, tarmac, painted plaster and render.

Application Instructions

APPLICATION - DILUTE BEFORE USE

  • For normal purposes: 1 part Algae Clean with 2 parts water
  • For heavy contamination: 1 part Algae Clean with 1 part water
  • Apply liberally using brush, spray or watering can
  • Application rate: 2-5 sq. metres per litre of diluted material, depending on the surface to be treated
  • Following application allow surface to dry and brush off any excess residual contamination as necessary
  • On heavily soiled areas, a second application may be required
