Choosing an Applicator for Your Project

Find out the things to consider when choosing an applicator for your project.

Finding a reputable and reliable applicator is one of the key concerns when you are planning any home improvements or developments.

You should consider the following when choosing an applicator:

  1. Are they recommended? We run a monthly course to train applicators and plasterer’s on best practice methods when using our products. On completion of the course delegates have the opportunity to feature on the K Rend recommended applicator list. These applicators are experienced in the application of K Rend render and consistently achieve an excellent finish.
  2. Are they experienced? You should aim to choose an applicator with experience as this should result in a higher quality of workmanship.
  3. Is their work up to standard? You should ask to see a portfolio of the applicators work before proceeding with your project.

Choosing a contractor:

Working on large projects can be very demanding and time consuming. If you are working full-time and don’t have any experience of major works such as extensions or home improvements then it may be better to employ a contractor to manage the project for you.
