St MacNissi’s Primary School visits

Posted on 03 June 2015

On 3rd June we hosted an educational visit welcoming year 7 pupils from St MacNissi’s Primary School.

The visit is especially important in the run up to the summer break as it highlights the dangers of entering a quarry unsupervised. We work in partnership with Quarry Products Association NI (QPANI) to present the ‘Stay Safe..Stay Out,’ campaign message to all children who visit our site.

Lisa Neill, Marketing & Product Development Manager comments:

“It’s important to educate the local children on quarry safety to ensure they stay safe over their summer break. It also provides an excellent opportunity for pupils to learn about the company’s activities and educate them on how the company contributes to their local community.”
