We were delighted to support St MacNissi’s Primary School, Larne in their annual ‘Dragons Den.’
Each year P7 pupils are given the opportunity to experience the challenges and rewards of the entrepreneurial world were they are given 5 minutes to pitch their ideas and results to 3 local business representatives. Marketing Co-Ordinator Carolyn McFall went along to listen to the pitches from 5 teams, made up of 6 pupils.
“This was my first year in the ‘den’ at St. MacNissi’s and I was amazed by the high standard of 10 -11 year olds delivery of their potential business ventures. The use of modern technology and teamwork in the classroom to build presentations was very impressive where they composed every element of the proposal themselves. Each aspect of the product launch from budgeting to promotional material was covered and it was great to see young people with such a bright future ahead of them flourishing.”
We are committed to enhancing the educational experience of young people through initiatives like these and are planning on hosting another educational visit for the St. MacNissi’s pupils on our site in May.
